This is me getting into my Halloween costume. More pictures to come. Well
no more pictures yet, but a bit more description is in order. I made a set
of two foot stilts that I am standing on and the wings are spring loaded with
a wing span of about 12 feet. I had a great time making this costume and I
got a chance to sew (I made the whole robe). The stilts are of particular
interest. They are similar to the design used by dry wallers, but I didn't
know that until I had completed them. They articulate at both the foot of
the stilt and where you place your foot. The sensation of balance is retained
so I can stand on them indefinitely without moving. :)
